Getting the basics right
No independent examination is needed, but clear records still matter to funders. We help you set up simple bookkeeping, prepare your annual accounts and get your Charity Commission return right.
Community accounting
Small charities hold their communities together, often with a volunteer treasurer and a spreadsheet. We give them proper finance support at a fixed fee, so trustees can focus on the work that matters.
Thresholds below apply in England and Wales for financial years ending on or after 30 September 2026.

£40,000 to £500,000
Annual accounts and independent examination, with bookkeeping and payroll if you need them. Unincorporated charities and CIOs in this band can still use receipts and payments accounts.

Monthly bookkeeping, payroll, management accounts, accruals accounts under SORP and examination by a qualified examiner. Many charities in this band no longer need a full audit.

Many of the groups you support or fund struggle most with the finance side once the grant arrives. We work alongside infrastructure organisations and giving schemes to close that gap.
